Art after Dark Artist Opportunities

Local artists (visiting artists are welcome too) and performers of all varieties are invited to join us at "Spring for the Arts" and our other monthly editions of Art after Dark, happening on the 2nd Friday of each month (April - Dec) in downtown Fuquay-Varina. There are a variety of ways that you can get involved, and all of these opportunities are FREE!

• Share your work at the Artist and Crafter's Market
• Hang your work in our "Gallery around Town"
• Street musicians, and other performers are invited to perform on the sidewalks and public spaces of Fuquay-Varina.
• On April 12th, street painters are invited to participate in the En Plein Air paint-off, presented by the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Revitalization Associaton. Pre-registration is required for this event.
• Play / read / share during an organized open mic.
• Be a featured performer at a future event.
• Organize an Arts event at a Fuquay-Varina location (we may be able to help you find a space)
• If you live /work in the downtown area, have a gallery / studio tour of your own gallery / studio.
• Do you provide a creative Arts service to the public? (ex. Characture drawings, face painting, balloon art, poetry on demand, etc) You can set up a space on the streets or in our artist and crafter's market . There is no charge to participate, and you may charge a fee to the public for your services.
  
  If you have another idea of a way that you would like to participate in a future "Art after Dark" event, please let us know. We are always looking for new ideas, and we want Art after Dark to be a place where the creativity in our community can flourish, and people can bring their ideas to life.
