This month, let's "Walk the Walk" Together!

rickshawSince September of 2011, the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council has been presenting Art after Dark, a regular monthly Art Walk on the 2nd Friday of the month in downtown Fuquay-Varina. The event regularly includes a local artist market, live music, kids activities, and a variety of local artwork and arts events throughout various locations in the downtown area.

On May 10th, the Arts Council will add an exciting piece to this event by leading a group of interested walkers on the “Art Walk.”
Beginning at the Artist and Crafter’s Market on Broad St. at 5:30pm, the group will walk and ride (via Rickshaws!) to visit a variety of locations featured on this month's walk. They will end up back on the Varina side of town, where walkers will have the option of continuing their night by enjoying two live local music performances at the Aviator Tap House and Brick Bar and Grill. All are encouraged to join in the walk. If you prefer to walk on your own, maps will be available at the Artist and Crafter’s Markets on Broad St. and Raleigh St. Visit www.FVartscouncil.org for a full list of events and locations.
